In plain terms: We aren't the ones who sell; we help you get a good deal and a trustworthy brand at Shoptique. If you make purchases from a retailer through our website, the contract for the purchase is between you and the retailer, and not between you and us. This commission is not a reflection of any particular brands or their selection and will not impact the brands that we recommend.
Some terms, though, are used several times in this document, and it is more convenient to define them here than to repeat the definition in each of the clauses.

Shoptique is a shopping research and recommendation site that is independent. In other words, we write brand reviews and trust ratings, shopping guides and trend write-ups, product and price comparisons, and a collection of coupon and discount codes from Partner Merchants and public promotions.
We don't produce, sell, or ship any physical or digital product. Though some of our comparison pages may look like shops, we are not a retailer, not a marketplace, and not an online shop.
Prices, ratings, rankings, and “recommended” badges are generated by our editorial staff based on a variety of factors, including price tracking, customer sentiment analysis, return-rate data (where available), and manual review. No brand, retailer, or advertiser can pay to move up or down in our rankings, nor can they affect the star rating or secure editorial placement that wouldn't otherwise be earned on the merits.
This does not reflect the personal preferences of every brand we profile, nor does it constitute the accuracy of our judgment; it simply reflects our judgment for good or ill and is not for sale. If a brand-sponsored relationship is present, either in the form of a brand sponsored guide or a brand spotlight, we include that designation in addition to our independent rating, where applicable.
In addition, there are many outbound links on Shoptique that are Affiliate Links, such as links within coupon listings, “Shop Now” buttons, and comparison tables. By clicking through to purchase, Shoptique may receive a commission from the Merchant. There’s no cost to you, and the cost you pay will be the same if you come through our link or just type the retailer’s address into your browser.

Just to be clear: Shoptique does not sell products or services to you. We are not responsible for processing your order, collecting your payments, keeping stock, arranging any shipping, or acting as merchant of record for any transaction you make with a Merchant. If you purchase an item after clicking through from our Site, the contract of sale only applies between you and that Merchant, and is subject to its own terms, pricing, and policies
Statutory rights that arise to the extent of a sale on goods (such as rights of withdrawal, conformity guarantees, and warranty claims under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) or under the Sale of Goods Act and equivalent UK law) are not vested in Shoptique, but rather in the Merchant.
A number of links to various Merchant websites are included in our Platform, as we are an informational middleman. Shoptique is not responsible for or liable to any third parties for the contents of any third-party websites, privacy policies or practices, or operations.
You hereby waive all liability against us for any transaction with external Merchants made in connection with Shoptique. Any issues, disputes, or claims regarding:
Product defects or poor quality;
Shipping delays, loss, or logistics failures;
A mispricing or misbilling on the Merchant's Website
Refunds and/or warranty claims;
This should only go to the Merchant from whom you ordered the product. We will not serve as a mediator in consumer/external retailer disputes.
We review coupon/discount code lists on an ongoing basis, manually, and we make every effort to eliminate or flag out codes once they are known to have expired. Despite this, retailers occasionally change a promotion's dates, limit it to certain products or other areas with little or no notice prior to the promotion, so please note that we cannot guarantee that any of the codes on this list will be valid when you use them.
If a code doesn't exist, the next logical move is to see the terms of the offer on the Merchant's website or report the same using the "report this code" link to update the listing. We're not able to compensate you for the difference between a code that didn't apply and one that did.
Any rating, score, or recommendation presented on Shoptique is derived from our editorial opinion, based on the aggregation of data, user sentiment analysis, or historical performance metrics. They do not constitute objective facts, endorsements, or guarantees regarding a brand's reliability or a product’s fitness for a particular purpose.
The information provided on Shoptique is maintained with great effort by our team to be accurate, up to date, and reliable, but we cannot guarantee that all Content (including product specifications, prices, information about merchants, stock availability, etc.) is error-free.
